Friday (9TH) is the last chance to get your entries in online for the BMTC joint Open show, judge breed specialist Sue Smith and Championship shows, judge breed specialist Carol Wicker, on 24th February at Shenstone Village Hall. Schedule and entries at haveadogday.co.uk please support our judges who give their time freely. Even if you are not showing feel free to come a long and have a chat or peruse the merchandise stall for all things MT.
Looks like it was a successful first Central Yorkshire mooch last weekend, with nice weather, Chris Hill wrote: Fab weather on this morning’s inaugural Central Yorkshire mooch around Swinsty Reservoir. Really nice to meet new dogs and their hoomans. From left to right Jack, Snoop, Mitch, Bel, Lucca, Archie and Nellie. Thanks to Suzie Cree for organising.

Work has started to collate articles for the BMTC 2024 Yearbook. Message from Ann Harrison: Once again I am again compiling two sections of the 2024 BMTC Yearbook. Firstly, if your Manchester passed over Rainbow Bridge in 2023 and you would like to commemorate them in ‘Remembrance Corner’, please either PM or email me on annandchrisharrison@tiscali.co.uk with a few words and picture/s to celebrate their life.
Also, we need to know about those clever Manchester’s who have achieved success in Nationally recognised tests and achievements for the Yearbook Roll of Honour 2023. If your dog has passed a KC Good Citizen Test (including Puppy Foundation), gained a ‘Do More with Your Dog’ Trick Certificate, achieved a Mantrailing UK or Scentwork UK Assessment, or achieved ANY certificate or qualification recognised on a National level please PM me and let me know. Contact me if your dog has gone up a Grade in Agility or Rally too. We need the dogs’ pet name, KC Registered name and the date the award was gained. Either PM or email as above. Thankyou!
