BMTC SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

At the General Meeting in September Social Media Policy was placed on the agenda due to inappropriate, rude and distasteful comments posted by some Club Members.
Those present agreed a Social Media Policy should be added to the Club Rules and Constitution/ Code of Ethics. During discussion it was felt that comments made by members on Social Media could also bring the Club into disrepute which is unacceptable.
It was asked if this could be opened to the wider membership for consultation so their views can be expressed as to the wording they would like included in the Rules & Constitution.
