Northern

The Northern Area is where the very first Manchester Terrier Mooch took place on Formby Beach, L37 1LJ.

Since then we have had many more successful Mooches on this beach with varied numbers of Manchesters in attendance; the record is 39. After the Mooch we convene in the car park for refreshments and a chat before we take our exhausted pooches home.

Mooches in new locations have also been added and, where possible, we have included a Cafe break, Pub lunch or Picnic.

As with all our mooches, they are designed as a social gathering and for those that want to know more about the breed. Other dog breeds are welcome on the walks.

Anyone with a Manchester Terrier who lives in the Northern Area can plan a mooch and advertise it on this page and in Facebook. The group is open to suggestions about other walks and locations.

Mooch News – Northern

Merry Mersey Mooch! 28th December 2021 10:30am

Meeting Boathouse Car Park, Sale Water Park, Rifle Road, Sale, Cheshire, M33 2LX at 10:30am for mulled wine and mince pies before a lovely stroll along the Mersey.

Stop off at Jacksons Boat on way back for a drink and something to eat.
