THE BRITISH MANCHESTER TERRIER CLUB

BREED APPRECIATION DAY (BAD) with MULTIPLE CHOICE EXAM (MCE)

Date: Saturday 12th October 2024   Registration – 9.30am for 10am start

Venue: Shenstone Village Hall, Barnes Rd, Shenstone, Lichfield WS14 0LT

The day will consist of:

Two Guest Speakers: – Paul Eardley – Sherex, together with an experienced Manchester Terrier exhibitor.

An introduction to the History of the Manchester Terrier by Ann Harrison – Magpiebank.

Followed by our speakers who will give you their interpretations of The Royal Kennel Club Breed Standard expanded.

There will also be an opportunity to have some `hands on` experience over the dogs and put questions to the handlers.

This will be followed by Lunch.

After lunch those not taking the MCE must leave the Hall.

Those eligible will now sit the MCE.

Anyone may attend the BAD, but only judges who qualify for Judges Education Program (JEP) Level 1 can take the MCE.

Candidates must qualify as per the RKC Level 1 listing or Give Challenge Certificates in another breed.

We hope to have time for Group Mentoring for those who pass the MCE.

Tea/coffee and biscuits during the day, lunch included for all those attending.

Numbers for the MCE will be limited so please book early!!

The BAD is FREE for all those attending, including those not taking the MCE.
